Beef with Oyster Sauce Stir Fry

Beef with Oyster Sauce

6 servings


7 tbsp vegetable oil

2 tsp garlic

½ small white onion, chopped

3 oz sliced red pepper

3 oz sliced mushrooms

3 tbsp oyster sauce

3 tbsp water

1 ½ tsp sugar

1 tsp pepper

15 oz trimmed beef flank steak

Stir Fry:

1 ½ tsp cornstarch mixed with 1 ½ tbsp cold water

3 oz sliced red pepper

3 oz sliced mushrooms

Combine all the marinade ingredients in a medium glass bowl.  Toss the meat in the marinade. 

If using that day, marinate the meat for at least 30 minutes.   Place a wok on medium high heat, then add the meat with the marinade.  Fry until the meat is no longer pink, then throw in the peppers and mushrooms.  Cook for another 3 minutes or until the vegetables are cooked to your liking.

Serve over steamed white rice.

To freeze portions in the Burger Master spoon the beef with marinade into the separate hex compartments.  Close the tray and store in the freezer on a flat surface.  This recipe will fill one Burger Master container.
